Your place is really cute. I am a straight woman. I don't set out to explain myself or my choices to anyone. They often think I am supposed to explain myself to them when I am not even affecting them about any given subject or thing I do. I am single, strong and often perceived as a bitch because I am not meek and mild. I am me, first and foremost. I never set out to hurt anyone being me, but when they take it that way, I figure the fault lies in them. I don't think you should have to worry about reminding yourself to be proud of who you are. We all get that right. When you give a tour, you shouldn't feel the need to explain your art or your sexuality. We all get our right to choose, even what others don't understand. But the art is cool.
