I have used MotorKote for over 5 years and it hasn't hurt my motor at all. From this demonstration, it looks like MotorKote has been protecting my engine. My car has over 250,000 miles and it's still running great.

Never heard of this until I saw a demo by the Project Farm channel, who is unbias.
@lnkvkldvkjdfiohwgoiw6 жыл бұрын
The point of this was to pick an existing product and make the most biased commercial possible lol. There are no lies in it though it really makes things run without oil with no wear. I have put it in everything I own since hearing about it and now so does the FFA teacher and pretty much everyone who saw this in class. I wish the MotorKote website compared it to other things supposed to do the same instead of just normal additives.

I have used Motorkote and Prolong with good success. There is a product that claims to outperform MotorKote called NMF (No Mor Friction) here is the link to the video: www.dailymotion.com/video/x1bpxwz I too would like to see a test performed by MotorKote against other Metal Treatments. Here is a list i have been working on for a while of equivalent products, many of which have demonstrations similar to Motorkote online, especially Prolong. 1 Motorkote 2 Prolong 3 Bestline 4 LubeGard 5 TVT Green 6 SFR Protecta 7 BG MOA 8 Petron Plus 9 ArchOil 10 Xtreme Greene XPL + 11 X-1R Engine Treatment 12 PolyTron 13 Pro1One 14 Metal Treatment MT-10 15 Xcel Plus 16 Xtreme Friction Fighter 17 DW D2 Metal Conditioner 18 Mega Power 19 Super Kote 2000 20 Roil Oil 21 Extra Lube: ZX-1 22 Bell X-Tra Lube 23 Friction Free 3000 24 Dyna-Lube 25 Microlon 26 Dura Lube 27 DMX Engine Protector 28 PS1+Lube 29 MaxiLube 30 Nano Lube 31 Motion-Plus 32 QMI Oil Treatment 33 Dynamic Kote 100 34 NMF - No More Friction

i bought it at the san bernardino ca fair back in 2002 to see if it would quiet my ticking rocker on my 99 honda civic that would make noise when i started it in the morning. it stopped the noise and had i little more power too. the guy claimed A.S.T.M. testing standards so i took a chance, worked for me, and i seen his bearing test and i held the weights on the test. there might be something better now but the only thing at the time that was millitary aceppted was the microlon gun juice. millitary standards are the best but the microlon was very expensive! you guys do your own test and see what you come up with. i still use the motorkote with no issues.

I was skeptical, but added it to my 2012 Kawi Ninja 650 today and the bike loves it! It feels more zippy and runs smoother with just over 23k miles, I'm happy so far. We'll see if the mileage improves over time too.

I'm still debating if I should put motorkote into my engine but I see good and bad comments about motorkote. Would anybody recommend me using motorkote ?
@darring.91617 жыл бұрын
I've used it in my Big Trucks and Cars for many years now...without ANY ISSUES! It works well, and really keeps the engine clean and smooth running! I also run Temperature Extremes such as the Sub Arctic Range of the Northwest Territories...and it keeps my engine smooth and quiet in the minus's. Easier starting too!

Can you add Motorkote to my Vans gas tank to lubricate the fuel pump?
@Im_The_Slep3 жыл бұрын
NO. That will damage your fuel system, it’s not meant to be sent through fuel injection

MK has done wonders for my diesel engine, I have the X 15 Cummins engine, with any other engine it takes 26 to 28.2 gallons to go 100 miles, with this Cummins X 15 engine it only takes 22 gallons to go 100 miles, after mixing 16 ounces of motor coat with the standard oil for this engine I now go 100 miles at 19 to 20 gallons depending on the route, area, and season. My oil tank is a max 11 gallons, I put 10 gallons of standard engine oil for this engine and 1 gallon of Motorkote, I had all of the oil dumped out of my gear differentials and replaced it with Motorkote, also for my transmission, now I take fully loaded trailers total weight 40 tons, I fuel only according to total route destination, Again, depending on the route I fuel at least twice if I'm going through mountains, now I fuel only once and still have about 20 to 25 gallons of fuel left, didn't have to change my oil for year and 3 month, totally worth it... I also use upper cylinder lubricant from Motorkote, my engine pearls like a cat now I get up to 3 MPG's, never thought I would see 9 MPG's in the Northeast and 10.6 mpg's west of Colorado I 70 Fully loaded, 80,000 pounds When my truck needs to Regen to burn out the ash from the DPF filter it takes at least two hours, that's almost 2 gallons wasted, with the motorkote DPF cleaner it takes less than an hour sometimes. One of my fathers trucks is a Coronado with a 60 series Detroit engine, I used MK stiction remover that removed clunked and clogged up oil out of his fuel injectors I look at the comments were people are using this in their car, you're not gonna notice that much of a difference if any at all but it works, and cars really don't need much; you would only feel and notice a big fuel economy difference in heavy duty engines and parts.. ....

Before putting any of this type of product in an engine, make absolutely sure that is does not contain Chlorinated Paraffin or Olefin. I did an identical test as in the video using Clorox Bleach Wipes as the lubricant and it beat the oil and additive competitors hands down. So, would you put Clorox Bleach in your engine? Please don't! We have seen many engine failures from extend use of products containing Chlorinated Paraffin and Chlorinated Olefin. With heat and condensation in the engine, chlorine produces acid that will pit and degraded cylinder walls, bearing surfaces, etc. Additionally, Chlorine will dry and crack seals, shrink seals, and in some cases cause seals to swell. I sent a sample of a similar product that prefers to use a drill press to show what a great friction reducer they have. The test done was a "Chlorine by Microcoulometry HL-1168". Many well known labs around the country can perform this test. The product we tested (after we were told by the manufacturer it did not contain chlorine) came back from the lab with 357,600 PPM. That is 35.76% Chlorine. Try this test at home. Take you favorite "as seen on TV" friction / metal treatment product and put an ounce in a bottle with 4 or 5 ounces of your favorite oil. Shake the crap out of it and let it sit for a day. Do a second bottle and put it in the freezer for a day. If you have a milkshake in the freezer and a separation of product from the oil on ether sample.....RUN!

It says right on their website Motorkote doesn't contain any of the ingredients you mentioned.
@factoryrep88119 жыл бұрын
MrChuckwagon55 On the product description it says :MOTORKOTE is a pure synthetic engine additive concentrate containing no solids, moly, teflon, or graphite. They also say No PTFE....that's Teflon. They say nothing about having or not having chlorinated Paraffin or Olefin in their additive. Olefin is the synthetic version of paraffin. Just be careful! Chlorinated normal alpha olefin 20-24 (C20-C24 alpha olefin) may be used as a secondary plasticizer in PVC formulations. Chlorinated alpha olefin (40 wt. % chlorine) based plasticizer formulations have been evaluated against chlorinated paraffins (42 wt % chlorine) and alkyl-aryl hydrocarbon plasticizer formulations. The evaluation of the mechanical properties of these formulations shows that the chlorinated alpha olefin is equivalent in plasticizing efficiency to the two other secondary plasticizers, while having adequate heat stability and volatility properties. Polychlorinated 1-dodecene, 1-tetradecene, and 1-hexadecene perform well as stable high temperature metalworking fluid additives.
