People bag him for it, but he got a lot of success out of the players he coached. He had to do it in the 07-11 cats era, the near unstoppable 2010-11 pies team, and then the Golden Era Hawthorn 13-15 3 peat. That's some rough bloody luck. At least he made the right decision to wait out the Richmond dynasty before returning to the coaches seat so he didn't have to deal with it all over again lmao
