Only problem my daughter had with her was the buttstock cracking during full loads. Replace both with American Black Walnut using the steel strap buttolate from Rossi. Rubber one won't fit.

I have the Saddle ring carbine in .357 and I would really like one in .454 but I want it blued not stainless. I wonder if you tried and .45 Colt ammo in it? Either factory or handloads and if so, how did it function?

I have not tried 45 colt in this rifle yet. I'll give it a try when I get to the range next, I'll be posting a video on 45 colt in this rifle.
