This little place is so cute and cheerful! I love the contrast of the white walls and the trim. I don't know why, but I favor the homes in Molise and Abruzzo more than any other regions. They have such a nice vibe!

I would clean out the cantina. Have a fireplace installed, a toilet and sink, a sofa, a small fridge, and a microwave for snacks. Put up a sign" there's no place like home" and put my feet up!!

Why not make it a small loft? Might be tall enough. Edit: i think you'll have to apply for some sort of permit to make it habitable either way

I would make that entry room with the old toilet, a closet for coats and shoes. Then upstairs have a galley kitchen, a washer, small refrigerator and cute bathroom with shower. Then the other side would be seating with a long coffe table and that’s where we would eat. Look like you could have 2 double beds and a single bed in the sleeping area. Would be a cute place to stay on vacations. Share with family and possibly rent it out to travelers when you are not there.

This place is super cool and looks like something out of a fairytale story. You could start vines and flowers from the balcony. Unfortunately, the balconies are not large enough for a table and chairs for morning coffee but could they be enlarged? It does need a kitchen and more importantly, it needs a bathroom. Who builds a place without a bathroom? I mean, did chamber pots make a comeback? It seems to run piping will require new floors and a wall for privacy. Thanks for listing the price of the kitchen but what about the price of the bathroom, wall and door?
