Good encouragement for those of us who talk to our plants. Removing one that has overstayed its time is so hard to do. I try to find someone who has the room, desire, and need for the plant in their garden, and then help to move it. I always love “ editing”. My husband however, is of the opinion that once planted, that the garden bed should not be touched. He cannot understand my moving plants around to “ better positions”. I always change beds around, since this type of designing gives me much joy, and I wear the hat that says “HEAD GARDENER”😁

While I was reading to you, one thought come to my mind, my dad saying my mom "you already have to many plants you just need to maintain it not to increase their number, we have no space for for more plants this is to much!" My daddy just like in the garden things that can be eaten, basically fruits, vegetables and herbs and my mom have both, some veggies but the big space are for their flowers and bushes, And she always moves their containers here and there and perennials flowers to. every summer we have a new flower bed.

Hi Rosy, I saw your plan for a shady garden last year and I copied it off...I'm now in the process of buying the plants. For future, I'm now encouraged to do my own design for other parts of my garden. What site do you use to do your plans like you showed on this video, or is it a programme that you use? Thanks again for your videos, and have a great Christmas and New Year 😀
