The Ingersoll Rand 114GQC Air Hammer kzbin.infoUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS was just the tool I needed. I Use it to remove stuck bolts. If held at the right angle you can cut slightly into the bolt. Then turn the air hammer to where it will hammer the stuck bolt to unspin the bolt. Given a little practice it works great. This air hammer gives you the control needed to get the job done right. Very powerful yet still does not seem to have as much vibration as other guns I have used. One of the best I have gotten my hands on.

Fantastic restoration, could I please ask my dad recently passed away , and left me his tools, he left me a similar drill, but the chisel function doesn't go up and down, only spins around. Could this be an easy fix or is it completely broken, really appreciate any help thank you

Next time just re-varnish your armature, and stator windings, that's what the copper wires were coated in originally. The epoxy mix melts under heavy use, and makes a sticky mess, and if some gets on the commutator ruins the carbon brushes.

As always a mind blowing restoration, but I have a couple of questions. The epoxy one has already been asked, but also why didn’t you use any filler for the worst of the pitting? Was it because of the levels of vibration the drill will go through? I know you’ll have a good reasons and asking the questions is in no way a criticism. As always compulsory viewing, thank you for posting.

One and two component epoxy adhesives, sealants and potting compounds offer toughness, high strength adhesion and cost effective performance in electrical motor and generator assembly applications. These compounds are designed to provide thermal stability, resistance to moisture, chemicals, vibration, impact and thermal cycling. Additionally, specific formulations provide superior electrical insulation properties, thermal conductivity and gap filling abilities. Source: Google

Came out very well, nice job, it's useful again! Was going to praise you on pressing in new bearings instead of hammering then you pressed a bearing in partially with you vice (acceptable), but seat it by pressing on the inner race with a socket there by defeating the entire procedure. Also why spray lubricant on the cap screw heads, it doesn't reach the threads which need the lubricant to unscrew, and unless they are seated in a metal housing rather than plastic lubricant is of no use what so ever. Overall nice not overdone.

Винаги, когато гледам подобни клипове, падам от смях! Електрически инструменти не се ремонтират така! Най-малкото е опасно! Реставрирана по този начин, машината става само за музеен експонат, който бръмчи. Whenever I see videos like this, I fall down laughing! Electric tools are not repaired like this! It's dangerous to say the least! Restored in this way, the machine becomes just a museum exhibit that hums.
