The Dutch pronounciation of Gouda cheese is "How-da". My grandmother would get so annoyed with us and correct us each time. It became a bit of a joke and she would try to swat us as we intentionally mispronunced it. This video was so fun, I love it when the JOLLY parents appears in a video.

Close, but not quite. We do pronounce the "G" but not as hard as they did in the video. It is a sound made by almost touching the back of your tongue to the roof of your mouth, letting the air through a tiny gap. ( Like doing an "H" but press the back of your tongue up a bit more) In most parts of the country this is a hard, raspy sound, almost like you've got some mucus you're trying to get out of your throat. In other parts of the country (mostly southern) we have a "zachte G" ( soft G) which sounds more like a whisper coming from the back of your mouth. It is difficult to explain as I cannot think of a similar sound in the English language.

In Orkney there’s an island I grew up on called Shapinsay and the cheese they make is INCREDIBLE! My fav way to eat it is with homemade rhubarb compote on dropped scone (a little Scottish pancake) The cheese is creamy, crumbly and sort of sweet. It’s also delicious on a baked potato 😊

I live outside Adelaide in South Australia, and I really REALLY wish we had such a place like this cheese-train in Adelaide. I say this because I can strongly relate to Ollie's dad, being a cheese lover myself and this looks like it would be an amazing place to visit. Hope to see more cheesy videos in the future!

I've only been a fan for the last few months, and so I have a lot of catching up to do, but I LOVE Josh and Ollie. And seeing Ollie's dad Henry really adds such a beautiful contrast to the cheeky insanity that is Ollie. What a great video. I normally (like most Jellybeans I assume) just watch Ollie's reactions to eating things, but I was so much more interested in watching Henry this time, since he seemed to enjoy all of those cheeses.
