Sir, in problems where we have such ropes in a somewhat curved shape is cutting the rope at midpoint a general way which should be followed in such problems. In the question involving a catenary also you have used this method and arrived at a simple solution. Sira small request can you please help with pathfinder optics build -28(pg11.12) whenever you get time sir please

Sir had the question not mentioned the tension at midpoint how would we have calculated it? Is it possible to find it?

Then mass/ mass density should be known and we can apply NLM on small section at mid point and can find tension

Sir while I tried to solve this by myself, I assumed the tension in that rope to be constant as it was massless... Obviously I was wrong but if possible sir can you please tell me how the tensions changed ?.. Thank u sir..🙏🙏!!

You can see by taking small elements and keep in mind that there is centrepetal acceleration for each element.

net force is not zero as that part of the rope is accelerated since it performing circular motion.
