Very cool! I really like how you do a real fair apple for apple comparison in a super controlled scientific way, and then present that data graphically. Keep up the great work Thomas!! Chris-

I love the red hot glowing exhaust pipes. Very concerning design feature.

I have a question. I'm designing a test bench for that engine. How many hours or time can this engine be tested, and can you share any links for designing a test bench for this engine?

Very cool. How does the big bore kit affect fuel consumption?
@EdgePerformanceNorway Жыл бұрын
Only 2-3ltr hr at wot and nothing pretty much at cruise.

@@EdgePerformanceNorway Cool, that makes sense. Impressive!

I thought for sure, you were going to reflash the Rotax ECU and squeeze some more from the UL912IS. Do you offer that service?
@EdgePerformanceNorway Жыл бұрын
No. It’s not possible

Thomas, any incoming upgrades to 912is?

Maybe a turbo normalized kit at some point

@@EdgePerformanceNorwayI would buy that kit

torque values are 'through' the gear reduction box?
@EdgePerformanceNorway11 ай бұрын
No, crank torque. PTO TRQ is propeller flange torque.

@@EdgePerformanceNorway oh, It sure looked like the dynamometer was attached to the gearbox.
@boydw16 ай бұрын
@@roberttammerawitchey4652 It was. Engine torque can be calculated from PTO torque, as the gear ratio is known. You can see during the dyno pull that both engine & PTO torque are displayed. Engine torque was used in the graphs.
