Great video and good analysis. One thing I love about tom misch besides his musicality, is his time feel. He has such a laid back phrasing which brings it all to another level. @rotem: Would love if you could make a video one day on the topic time feel - perhaps by comparing different guitar players and how you have developed your own "time feel".

Rotem, thank you from the Pacific Northwest and putting this young man on my radar. At 73 I am looking for new groups all the time and this sure is filling my cup should overflow. What a great sound. Again Thank you.

I was thinking the same thing. Finding new groups is a struggle sometimes. I'm knocking on 70s door, so this was a treat. Don't get around the Country Fair as easily any more.☮️

Hey Rotem! Been following you for a couple of years now, but always been a lurker haha. I really do appreciate this series which is almost Michael Palmisano-esque though I prefer your take on the concept considering your musical background which is quite different from Palmisano's. Would love if you would take a look on the Australian disco/funk band Parcels. They have an extraordinary live recording here on KZbin called 'live vol. 1'. Cheers from a big fan in Sweden

Great video, but for It Runs Through Me I really think the B is more likely a F#m/B (or Bm9) and the second chord a D7(13) making it a lot less similar to Sunny and so on and more of his own unique progression.
@marcsullivan7987 Жыл бұрын
Adding extensions doesn’t fundamentally change a progression, but I agree it does add more distinction
@petermonrad8215 Жыл бұрын
I know what you mean, but playing the second chord as (rightfully) a D9 or D13 instead of the Am7 that Rotem plays is fundamentally different and a vital part of the progression.
