THEEEORY TIME: The guilds (or their shadow masters) are attempting to artificially recreate sponsorship through experimentation with the rot. The architects guild were the first ones to hire the party, the martinet had that old power...power and now the medical guild seems to be involved directly. Also, Mr O'lort is sponsored by uncle blaze and has been fighting these shadowy forces for some time (he was also near the sinkhole when he first met the party) but won't work with the party as they're too inexperienced and are sponsored by aunty drown who is presumably the opposite to uncle blaze (like lawful and chaotic). WIP theory, but that's how I think things are looking right now. I also hope that the rotgoons will stumble into this conspiracy and it'll end up being a dual perspective campaign.

So i was inspired by the little flashback with the restaurant and did something similar in my game this past week as an experiment and a little practice in RP, and because a player was out for a month so we had to fill in THAT gap (it was only a few days in game) and everyone LOVED it. They're using Foundry, a vtt program for all their character sheets and dice rolling stuff. The overlay for their character sprites and hero point bar is OBS with twitch integration.
