I recently learned that the first production run of the new 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 will only be offered with the six speed manual and that the second production run which is supposed to start January - March of 2017 is when the 10 speed will be available. I am like you and want to get the 10 speed auto because it looks insanely good. I will gladly wait for when the auto becomes available. It just gives me more time to save up a better down payment.

another great video Mat keep up the great work. I had a 2014 Tahoe that I put a k&n CAI system on made a world of difference especially in throttle response and it whistled only when you stomped on it and let off of the peddle quickly, this is way I have made a big uproar about not able to buy one for this car it's just not about hp it helps other things too.

I did a mountain run after between 500-1000 nothing more than 5K rpm, now once in a while do some pulls but no redline, let's say max 6K rpm. At 1350 right now, another 150 to go and getting oil change at 1500. After that, the fun starts.

Here in Europe, specially west side Camaro is a very special car, i have only seen one in my life. Mustangs however, i have seen 4 or 5. Also the cost for a used Camaro SS 2016 here is 100k dollars (85k euros)

The way I see it, if you have the money to mod and tune your new car and don't care about voiding the warranty then by all means mod your car. I personally would not mod my new car while it still had its warranty because my finances aren't meant to cover stupid decisions. So when someone talks down to you for having a stock car, just say "Are you going to pay for the mod and the cost of repair if something goes wrong?? No, so shut your mouth." Tired of those car guys who need for other's cars to be modded.

True however with something as simple as an intake, it is very easy to swap the stock box back in before taking the car in for service or repair.

I have a 2024 2ss and have a strange question. Is the factory real ? What makes the alarm go off ? I've tried shaking and pounding on the car with no result. I'm starting to wonder if arming it and seeing the flashing light on the dash is a hoax. Do you know if it really does go off by someone trying to mess with my car. Anyway if you know any thing about the factory alarm and if it's real lmk please. Thanks

@@Lethalgarage yes it comes with a factory alarm that honks and flashes the lights. There's a red light on the dash that blinks when I arm it. But I've never been able to do anything to the car that would make it sound. Your car didn't have an alarm?

Matt, you know what would have been interesting when you did the comparison? If you had a K&N drop-in OEM replacement oiled filter to drop in the stock box. Since the stock box did so well on the dyno, I wonder if a drop-in K&N would have helped it...?
