I'm not sure if this family was practicing forgiveness or more concerned with keeping the image of the family together for the sake of the church. I think that was the underlying storyline of the series. The series posed questions about forgiveness, personal character, honesty, the family dynamic, principles, values, ethics... and Christianity. If you didn't self reflect after this series, as a Christian especially, then you must be numb.
