The best thing about this has been seeing different stages of Galadriel’s journey before Lord of the Rings. Prior to this, she was a beautiful woman with clearly a lot of power but definitely more to give

I love the show. I loved the season 1 and 2 as it still going on. There are reasons why many people are not liking the show Majority has a strong childhood relationship with Jackson version of LOTR. Despite being thousands of years old Galadriel is still relatively young and has to learn so much more as the story will grow more. She is playing the character as it should be. Sauron is a monster according to Tolkien who has the ability the change his forms. As Sauron wants to rule the world, by knowing that he wants to rule all the people of all kinds such as dwarfs , elf’s, and humans and sea/ earthly monsters, he has to be able to change his forms in order to keep going on with his plan to rule on every thing, and being evil he has ultimate power of manipulating everyone. The Amazone version of LOTR has got it absolutely right. They understood the Sauron, Wizards are as well at the stage according to the story time line where they will have conflicts with in themselves, some are more powerful than others, Gandalf is still learning to understand who he is, what his purpose is, and what else he capable of. But the other wizards know way earlier what Gandalf is according to the prophecy of his coming. Shire and people of shire are not there yet where Jackson has introduced in his film trilogy. Graphics are so good that no other tv show could have ever done that kinda visual effects . It’s so much detailed and still looks so real. There is so much to come, I don’t see the point of criticism any where.

They don't. They have made a adaptation of a book. If this is so important, read the books. In fact the books are the only true lotr content anyways. Give me a break about professor tolkien, literally someone who is far too smart to engage in such a ridiculous form of attack. Tolkien would probably burn his books if he saw how much division they've caused. A show can be bad, but acting like this is some sort of sin against humanity makes you look sad, as if this is all you care about.
