I have a 1956 Bubble that’s been in my family for 55 years. It needs this type of restoration. I have been trying to get it in to some one but all the companies are too busy. I so wish I could do it myself, but I don’t have the skills or tools you all do. Kudos on your amazing job!

I have had two Airstreams now and find that although working on them is challenging, the outcomes are well worth the efforts. My 1995 needed a complete rebuild, and it was a massive undertaking, although I fortunately did not need to do the full monty like you did with your Bambi. The trailer is beautiful- you have done great work. Enjoy.

The spray foam may have been not a great choice. You get better R-numbers by the numbers, but the rigid foam in a very non rigid shell will crack and become brittle. When using alternative methods, I like to use what cob and strawbale builders call a truth window. I hope you left one in this build. I also hope your knee is better. Keep building. You guys rock

Credit where credit is due, you guys put in a lot of effort to restore that caravan. Hiring a crane and dropping it from height on to a poorly made British car could have solved two problems, though you choose the hard road. Wishing you all the best. Now, pull over every 300 miles or so and let the poor traffic past!
