Love it. My Rottweiler Patricia is 14 years old and I remember these times. When it’s time to work they are all business. She was a pleasure to train. They are a breed that needs jobs. She has had many jobs over her life. Nanny, guard dog, toddler trainer, emotional support animal, drinking buddies, pack animal in the back country and ambassador of a good time. She took all the jobs seriously and enjoyed them all. She informed me she was retired about 2 years ago. Enjoying her golden years now. Love this breed

Hi Mia! How old is your Rottweiler? I offer an online class that teaches this. The class meets by Zoom for one hour, once a week for six weeks. Here is more information about the class, if you want to more: www.legendsdogtraining.com/live-classes/calm-connections/

Good job. She loves and respects you very much, that is very easy to see. I used the clicker in the pass, my problem I forget where I leave it too often to be of use. Keep up the good work.

Kaiyah Xiong thanks for watching and commenting! The great thing is that you can easily switch back and forth between a clicker and a verbal marker like “good” or “yes.” Thanks for taking the time to comment! Best, Alyssa Rose, CPDT-KA

My dog is too hyper. I have put her in training and everything. She just a wild one year old puppy

Mz. lila Word hey, what has your training experience with your pup been like? Also curious to know what types of things trigger her excitable behavior; is it when you walk in the house? Or when you pick up a toy? I might be able to give you a few quick tips. Best, Alyssa Rose

@@legendsdogtraining Honestly it was a waste of time because I did not see any change. She is too hyper to leave out when I am not home so I have to put her in a cage and she keeps getting out the yard when I leave her out so I have to put her on a chain. I feel so bad because she needs to enjoy freedom but I can't afford for her to get out of the yard and attack anyone. I am trying with her and I have never had these issues with any other breed of dogs that I have owned. Its very frustrating dealing with this rottie.

So sorry to hear, this can be very frustrating. Let me know if I can offer any additional support. I do consultations and online training classes. I’m also happy to take requests for training videos. Best, Alyssa Rose
