There is an original non-remix version that has more Korean lyrics which possibly goes harder, but the overall meaning/intention is the same. The remix switched it up with the addition of Steve Aoki and switching out the Korean for more English. Great to see you guys back. I think you might enjoy Run BTS next as a group song. (Also NO RANKINGS needed pls. It's fair if you don't like something, but no need for comparisons and division. Positivity appreciated. 💜)

Mic Drop was Written and Produced by RM. RM explained that "MIC Drop" was inspired by Obama's speech at a dinner at the White House. At that time, Obama dropped his microphone at the end of the event. "This is a song that encompasses our struggle, ambition and self-confidence" -RM

Mic Drop is BTS' response to their haters with a little flexing on the side spitting facts...lol. with Suga's epic lines "tasteless ratatouille" & "sue it". I recommend you check their latest live performance of Mic Drop from their Yet To Come Busan concert last October 2022 where it was attended by 70k live audience and was livestreamed by over 50M worldwide causing the apps to crash from time to time....but so worth it. There are 4 versions of mic drop. This plus the original Korean version, the Desiigner version and a Japanese version. Super fan here. When this came out in 2017, bts were just starting to gain popularity in the west. Imagine their bag now.

A lot of army don't really like tier listing the member's songs bc it creates division within the fandom, but as long as you make it clear these are your preferences/music taste and not a competiton for who has the best music (specially since they do such different genres from each other) I think it could work, I've seen ppl do like tier list comparison of anime and discussing why each person liked what more, maybe something like that could work where you 4 make seperate tier lists and then come together to compare in the video. But no, seriously, I absolutely hate it when reactors start trying to rank or rate BTS songs, especially when they are pitting the solo songs against each other, but really... any ranking and rating. I enjoy them all. Why don't you just enjoy the songs (or not) without making it into a competition? It's your channel, of course, so do what you will! Tier list is a no for me. It’s complicated and it’s depend on taste. And people tend to make comparisons. Controversy and keep things spicy are very risky with solo fans of the members. This sort of fans are dumb and mean so the commentaries are going to be insufferable at your own risk. BTS have more than 300 songs so your journey is at the beginning. Thanks for this reaction.

Welcome back! Wow those graphics are crazy. Taste is subjective so tier lists are subjective. Some people think in black and white only and will see them as you saying your taste is absolute and will lose their minds. So good luck on that.
