It’s been over 30 years since I’ve allowed myself to listen to this song. When I was 16 I experienced my first love. He was an amazing human being, athlete, and boyfriend. His last JV football game they played their rivals and won. And he was the reason. He was only 5’4” but he was awesome. After the game he picked me up. We just drove around.I wanted to go to his house but he said no it’s late and I respect your Dad way too much. He dropped me off. Two hours later his mother was pounding on my door at 1 am. He had been killed directly in front of his home by his neighbor who was driving drunk. He was just 16. It rocked my world for years. This song, was the one song he told me was his song to me. He said this is how I feel about you. 😢- Kristin

Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer from the west coast of Vancouver British Columbia moved to the states and became a superstar you should consider listening to his first album I think it's called Summer of 1969 that's also the name of his first song on that album another song from that first album is called run to you, He did a song with the late Tina Turner called "it's only love" he has a large catalog I think you'll like the song "best of me" is another good one you'll like is catalog as I said it is quite huge he's from the '80s so you could just imagine how many songs he has done for movies and with other artists like Mel C from spice girls. But I think you'll really like his very first album with the song Summer of 69 the thing about his first album is you're going to need to get the song list order from the internet because he wrote it in a story book format so if you listen to the very first song on the album you'll see the connection with the second song on the album the third the fourth the fifth so that's the only thing with that album is it does have a sequence in which you should listen to the songs so you can see the storyline play out like a video movie if you watch it out of sync some scenes in the videos won't really make sense fully so that's the only thing you'll need to know the songs in advance you just obviously wouldn't have heard them or seen the videos so that's my advice with this very first album you'll enjoy that and then move on to the rest of his huge catalogue.

I don't mind when you ramble at times with your feelings about the the songs/music/lyrics as it often makes me think deeper on my own feelings on that particular song as well, instead of just reflecting on when I first heard the song in my younger years and just whether I liked it or not at the time. My favorite thing about this song is that the melody is based on "Maid Marion", the instrumental love theme that is heard all throughout the movie itself. For a similar example, check out "Into the West" by Annie Lennox, which was from Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and, just like this, won the Oscar for best song.

Another Canadian legend. Been seeing him in concert for more than 25 years. You should also do All For Love (theme from Disney's Three Musketeers ) with Rod Stewart and Sting. Might also like Cory Hart Sunglasses At Night or Never Surrender

BP, PLEASE give a listen to "All For Love" Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams and Sting. You can't get better than those 3 voices together in a love song

I love your pure insights and your moral values. You should watch that video of all for one with Rod Stewart and Eric Clapton. Phenomenal
