I think this generation Canyons looked better in stock setup compared to the Colorados. The more squrare front end didnt make it look as uneven in the front.

I put the same level kit in my 2018 Canyon looks great pretty easy install only problem i have is my upper control arms hit the spring on the strut now at full droop

Looks great, love the GMC Canyons!!!! I did a 2 inch leveling kit on my 2012 wasnt to difficult, definitely looks better, it a regular cab with 265/70/16 Falken Wildpeak at3

I know the top spacer gives the truck the height, but what does the bottom tapered ring do?

from my research the largest size yu can fit with no rubbing is 285/60R18

Does the truck need to have a front end alignment? I was told after 1000miles or so with out one the front tires are trash

Yes Fernando anytime you change ride height you will need an alignment!!Great question though!! thank you for tuning in👍

Just curious what keeps the strut rod from spinning when you reinstall the top nut? I picture it being not really tight. 🤔

Luckily it was a new truck and the struts were tight I just hit it with the impact. but there is a male torx style point on the strut shaft if it spins you can use a 12 point wrench on it

No❗️ you will either need a tool 🛠or If you take it to a local shop they will usually do it for cheap 💰that is if the strut is off the truck 👍😎🚗💨💨💨

How does it level it 2" if the kit is (2) 1/2" spacers?

Phill 66 it has to do with the pivot point if you make the shock 1 inch longer Where it bolts up it will make the wheel move two inches
