I coat the ball joints with anti seize then press them in so that its easier to change them next time around

I can't keep the top spindle from spinning when trying to put the castle nut on. Any suggestions? I tried the pry bar and even lifted it with a floor jack but can't stop it from spinning. Even the other one that I didn't install yet spins freely.
