Rough Year? Feeling downcast? My Final Words for 2023

Hello my friends and Diligent Homemakers, welcome to my porch today where I hope to share why we have been a little MIA. But, most of all, I hope to encourage and support YOU in your life's walk. You dear folks send me emails, Instagram messages, texts and even letters in the mail detailing the tough times in which you find yourselves. I am honored to walk down the path of life with you and hope that I can somehow be a small encouragement.

Blessings abound! Still feel the sting after a difficult conversation with a loved one. But you, my sweet friend, are a light! I watched this video via IG last night but had to watch it again on YT today. Also, I could give it a thumbs up via YT! I hope you know how much you mean to me. Thankful God connected me with you so many years ago. ❤️ Almost 10 now! Can you believe it?!! Awe, heart felt message Katie, and made me teary eyed. Sure has been a difficult year but I thank God he gets us through all trials and can turn difficult times into testimonies to help others. The joy of the Lord is my strength even when feel blue. Worship and praise songs are such a blessing thanks for sharing that. Oh sweet sister, how I wish I could reach out and give you a hug.😢 What you said touched my heart and brought me to tears. This has indeed been a hard year. I just feel like the wind has been knocked out of me. Christmas is not the same this year for me. My joy seems to be absent. Between loosing my mama in February and ongoing family relationship struggles I just feel so down and sad. I'm trying to be happy for the girls sake,trying to do as many traditional things for Christmas as I can. Thanks for sharing your ❤ and for the encouragement. I totally understand what you might be going through when it comes to family and how much we're praying for each one. We're so thankful that the Lord also knows and understands and he keeps us going through these times. The world is acrazy place. I love your down home love of life and how you present your videos.
