5:40. I can’t help myself… it’s not a landing craft, it’s a failed component (it broke its back in 1944) of the Mulberry Harbour that was to be transported to France of the D Day landings. There is however a wrecked landing craft further east in the harbour in the shallows to the east of the Kench. And if had an old Windsurfer Regatta or Mistral SST (wow you were wealthy) you could hit the bridge from the west on a dead run, kneel, sit and lay back holding the rig and fly straight underneath it without dropping the mast. The only noise was your mast rattling across the underside of the bridge if you hadn’t brought it down low enough. Great videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 500 plus entrants for the early 80’s races……..

At high tide, is there enough water to foil over the sand bars at langstone and chichester harbour entrances?
