I playfully did this while the video was on and then I seen your timer at the end. (Nice touch) I actually did a full set with my strong leg and I can really feel it. I'm going to try and do this 3x a day. I did it against a wall for support. I would like to eventually build the strength and not need the support as much. Thank you again sensei!

Awesome! The best part is that as you get stronger, you will kick higher in the drill which will give you an even better workout. And the circle of Karate Life continues....

@@KaratePlaybook Sensei, would integrating this exercise with the motion of rotating your leg like the ankle hula hoop video you made be a next level training?

Just one suggestion from my side... Please make a video explaining how to stay calm and what technique should be used in kumite when your opponent has scored more than you. I noticed that many times when the opponent scores and we're still on zero, players start feeling nervous, start attacking recklessly and as a result, they end up loosing more points. How should one tackle the situation?

A man asked me,"I remane still and don't know how to react when opponent approches with an attack in kumite.I mean, I lean my body back and that's all i do when he does an attack.can you help?"

Personally, I would work on a lot of angles, side stepping and so on. Plus having someone attack slowly at first, as a training drill will allow you to figure out what you want to do. Finally, as funny as it sounds, train it against kids (with control of course) because you will be less hesitant to go in and counter punch their attack. Hope this helps!
