It’s good to be optimistic and keep things in perspective especially with someone so early in their career. He shouldn’t harp on the knockdowns too hard because he soundly recovered but it’s also something he should address. Zab Judah use to make similar responses when he got dropped early in his career and I’m convinced he didn’t learn anything until it was too late (Tszyu fight) based on how he brushed off those flash knockdowns as nothing early in his career.

Vasquez wasn’t no scrub. Highly aggressive fighter that will prove to be beneficial for Abdullah career. But what’s interesting is after that knockdown from Abdullah, Vasquez wasn’t the same. You can tell from his body language.
@ohsobadley3 күн бұрын
He wasn't the same because he's injured his leg on that knockdown. When he went down he twisted his leg. That's why he was moving like that. He was favoring his leg.

Young'n is going 2be a mega-star in the sport. 🤔 Some of the so called top guys doesn't showcase the same heart in the ring. Dudes want the easiest fights, but not Abdullah Mason. These are the type of young'n's I respect. His hands does the talking in the ring... Not on fck'n line looking like a f.a.n. Keep doing what ur doing champ!

Let's not forget that this guy he's fighting is literally a knockout artist. 21 of his 25 opponents got stopped. The guy went pro when Mason was 8 years old. So there's a big experience difference as well. And he still finished dude despite it all in two rounds. Don't play with his name
