I used to go here to Pacific Ocean Park as much as I could. My second favorite place next to Disneyland. Most TV shows that filmed there only used exteriors. It's rare to see this footage of Neptune's Kingdom attraction behind the scenes. In later years you could bypass this entrance but initially you were crowded in an elevator simulator to the oceans floor. The room would shake and a clear tube in the center of the room would fill up with water. As you exited you could look at a few small aquariums and then the large animated tableau of King Neptune and his predatory creatures. During good summer seasons an actress dressed as a mermaid would be in there as well.
