Glad the RTD is still getting some miles in, been a great 2 years with mine. I ended up relocating the front Fend-Off mounting bracket due to the Columbus fork having no front facing hole through the crown, works a treat and doesn't look gawky. Cheers :)

That sounds a good hack. On Road Racers guards ATMO to save a bit of weight but I'll give it a go for winter

Hi Guy, I have the original CLX versions that I got for around 900quid a year ago. do you think it's worth "upgrading" to these to get the tubeless compatibility? though the CLX's are absolutely fine and work great

Sorry chief missed this comment. If you’re happy with the CLX and your current tyres then I’d stick with them, as tubeless can be a mixed bag on the road anyway

Any thoughts on the Rapide CLii after living with the Alpinist?

I had the Rapide's for pretty much the same period and they're great for faster, flatter rides but I prefer the 'pop' acceleration of the Alpinist for what I do most

I’m trying to decide between the Roval C38 and these Alpinist CL II. The Alpinist is $700 Canadian more. Do you think it’s worth the extra money?

I have a 2019 Ruby Comp that has the Swiss DT470 wheels. I ride with a cycling club in Collingwood, Canada. Our rides have some good hills. I want my bike to be faster on flats and easier on the hills. @@GuyKesTV
