If you search :dial gauge with remote control. You can get a factory one. In theory it should just be to open it up and solder two wires across the set bottom , to an external push bottom . But if you can open the box and if you can get to the pcb and if you don't upset the calibration , that is the question. I prefer the old analog style , better feel for min and max , last forever and never runs out of battery-

@@BritannicaRestorations you just pay 184K Nigerian money and you also get a reset 🙂 It can be tricky , you need to know what protocol it talks , and a lot of t i m e not to say , finding a plug that fits.

That's the problem - I am sure the reset is a simple ground

@@BritannicaRestorations It is too complicated ! Usually the dial will have a micro-controller that talks with the controller in the remote via some kind of serial data connection . If you can dig into the reset bottom in the dial . Of cause you can connect a remote switch in parallel.
