Hi Jimmy. I've owned 4 of these coupes in my life. Great cars. Yours looks a great example. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to buy....but can assure any classic car fan that they wont be disappointed. Above all it's a Rover... Good luck with sale .

Looks a pristine example of a 200 coupe and well looked after, I don't think I've seen another with that optional sandstone leather interior, I hope the sale goes well for you!

Amazing condition!!!!,love these cars don't like the rover 1.6 engine though as not reliable for me anyway but you never know how people before might have abused it,had the turbo on a L plate in nightfire red and honda powered M plate in black loved it until lorry hit it love to see this car in this condition

Hello from sunny Portugal. I have owned 2 216 Coupes with Honda engine. The first one was in Tahiti Blue and the second and current one is in British Racing Green. Love this car, is a total underrated car. Great video!

I learnt to drive in one of these many moons ago, huge fan of the Honda engine! Any chance of a road test video?

What a beauty! I had one of these in black when I was in my early 20’s back in 1999, owned it for 4 years. I was a very lucky young man. Sadly the engine failed, so had a recon engine put in as a replacement. That sadly lasted less than a year, a cylinder split. So sold the car. Definitely one of my most memorable cars, and I’ve driven a lot! Loved the Targa roof, remember that there was a soft case to put it in when you removed it. Mine also didn’t have the the rear spoiler (can’t remember if the spoiler was optional on the 216?🤔, or whether it was only available on the 220?). This brought back a lot of nice memories.
