Dan _ it’s not a 7 series, they only share platforms, that’s all. Rolls get their own engine, and they are hand built in their own factory. A company like Rolls Royce cannot survive on it’s own without a bigger company like BMW.

I'm in Texas, but growing up my older brother made sure I developed an appreciation for finely crafted automobiles like Rolls Royce and Bentley. I don't know when I first heard the names. My brother (RIP) would have LOVED this...and so much of what Rowan said about the RR, my brother could have said (even though he had never driven a RR). I love Rowan Atkinson.. Capital when and if required and a free hand to design and build. I had an Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio and a BMW M2. Now I enjoy a Jaguar F-Type V8 SVR. Wow, the ultimate pocket rocket and GT combined.
