I love that you talk about allowing someone to help you. When you have a servant's heart it is a difficult thing to let someone help you, But I learned that when you are in need of help and allow someone to have the joy that you feel when you help other's, that is a giving gift also. That gives them a sense of a source of worth which is one of the base needs of human nature.

I will check her out. I have hope although I’ve been told by every holistic provider it’s unlikely after 16 years of daily thyroid meds that I likely won’t be able to get off them. Challenge accepted!! I have tried everything diets and lifestyle, natural and holistic means and am just now getting my dose lowered. So there is some hope. My thyroid is very “grainy” and dead from hashimotos and it just doesn’t work to make the hormones. I wish I had more information 16 years ago I may not be in this boat now. It’s exacerbated by more autoimmune diseases and the pancreatitis I’ve been battling. Sometimes it doesn’t feel fair but I get over it and buck up. 🥴🌻🌻🌻

Thank you for being here!! I have been keeping a “health journal” with videos and charting my cycles- we determined I have been having bouts of recurring acute pancreatitis for 4 years! I have a GI appointment in October and that’s “urgent.” It does seem to happen around ovulation and a week before my period- we are investigating possible endometriosis in my pancreas but that’s very rare. There were days I would get out my car and curl up on the rocks unable to move for hours until it subsided. I was told last year that it “must be celiacs.” So I did the appropriate thing and got strict with GF. But I was still having random episodes until in November when I thought my gut was exploding- every time it feels like this- but this time, I decided it was not celiacs and that I needed to get checked asap so I landed in the ER the night before thanksgiving. I was shocked it was pancreatitis!! Totally not on my radar at all thinking it was a bad celiacs gut. I have hashimotos. So not sure if that plays a role. I used to drink alcohol. But I have been 100% sober for 2 years and 3 months still having recurring bouts of severe upper abdominal pain. I do notice it flares when I eat refined grains with heavy fats and sugar. So I try to limit the 3 together in large doses. No more GF cranberry tarts for me😅 I hate saying this and sounding like a victim- but my providers have gas lit me for years and I’m so fed up with the “sick care” system. I begged for answers pleading and crying in multiple doctors offices and they all just told me I was an exhausted mom. I needed more sleep. I needed a diet change- I eat healthy already GF DF and Whole Foods from scratch mostly- so it’s has been beyond frustrating to suffer and be told it’s because I’m a tired mom. I gave birth at home- I know pain. I know normal pain. And what I’m suffering is not normal. So- I treat myself at home and unless I’m vomiting and have a fever- I just stay home and get through it curled up in a ball when it hits. It also causes my back and neck to go out which is a whole other set of chronic pain from my motocross/extreme sports and partying days. I have prescription opioids I avoid using and save for the really bad bouts, and I have RSO 50/CBD 50/TCH to help with pain. I also eat gummies to help but really they just help me disassociate from the pain- it’s still there but I don’t care as much if that makes sense. Way better than opioid addiction and I live in Oregon where it’s legal. I just saw a rheumatologist to rule out Scleroderma and other rheumatic disease after a positive ANA test. I do have a few immune issues where I don’t make immunoglobulin of subclass 4 to fight certain upper body infections, and another new issue the rheumatologist discovered with my immune system being weak- but I just saw the labs online and haven’t talked to him yet. So I’ll share all that in a video. I go to pain management next Monday if the weather cooperates- it’s over a mountain pass 2 hours away and. It’s supposed to snow all week. 😅I’m going for my back but I’m going to discuss pain management options for recurring pancreatitis too if they offer it. But- I’m fed up with western medicine and I prefer natural means. I use allopathic to get my information and then I make informed choices for my treatment choosing exercises, diet, sleep, to help manage symptoms as well as some alternative therapies like chiro, plant medicine to understand my role in all this, etc. I’m searching for deep healing of a lot of childhood/adolescence trauma that I believe has caused all these ails. THE BODY KEEPS SCORE- there is a book about it. Thanks for being here and I’ll try to share a video about all of this. I need to set aside a day to do it. 🌻🌻🌻🌻
