They weren’t allegations. He did hit her, tho it wasn’t as bad as she makes out. The first ‘punch’ did hit her ribs, and his ring clips her skin. Of course she completely exaggerated it, but considering her history of abuse, it’s fairly common for people who suffer from PTSD to do things similar to that, as in as in react adversely or construe things to be way worse than they are. Big brother easily could’ve stepped in, and shown the house the footage to protect both parties and nip the situation in the bud. Instead they let it fester. Big brother thrives on controversy. They wanted something like this to happen. And like, tbh, Ryan isn’t a helpless victim in any of this. After he got out of the house he sold multiple stories on her. He has said there’s clearly something wrong with her, so why would you want to continuously profit off of a mental health episode of someone? Bit weird tbh.

I wish I'd seen this earlier. Roxanne Pallett worked for me as an actress and she told lies and tried to damage my reputation and career as a director. If I'd seen this when it happened I'd have gone to the press to add my name to those she lied about and whose career she tried to ruin. I'm so glad that this happened to her as I had her agent on the phone to me repeating all her lies about how I'd behaved in rehearsals. She walked out on the show days before it opened after all the press and advertising with her name on had gone out, leaving the entire cast and show in trouble and she tried to blame it on my actions. All lies. Before this, she's already destroyed her career in the industry going around lying and creating drama. She is disgusting. The stress she put me through was unbelievable as all the money I had and years of work was in that show. I'm so glad to see she got what she deserves. What a manipulative lying evil person. I should have said this happened back in 2009, so this woman has been lying and crying and getting some evil kick out of causing chaos for many years. I'd been running my company successfully for 15 years and working in theatre for 20 years and I walked away from theatre after the stress of all that. She probably has no idea how much stress walking out of a show days before it opens on the back of lies does to a director/producer like myself. I guess I'm lucky she didn't tell lies about me that could have put me in jail. Just lies to breach a contract and wreck a show and company.

Seriously? I'm sorry to hear that, and sorry you had that kind of stress put on you. It's really a horrible feeling, being accused of something you didn't do. Because your whole life, you try your best to be a good person, follow rules of society, and keep a clean image of yourself in the public eyes. I'm speaking on famous people, and non famous people. I've always tried my hardest, to be a respectful person, a caring person, and a gentleman. In 2013, at 23 years of age, a girl I was dating, turned me onto taking pain pills recreationally. I became badly addicted to them, and dependant on them. It lead me down a path of severe depression, which I still battle to this day. When I met my girlfriend Im with now, she hated me for being an addict, and made me out to be this monster to her friends, and family. I got clean in 2016, a month before our daughter was born. But, a lot of her family, friends, and even my own dad, and step-mom, still seem to all dislike me. Because my girlfriend doesnt understand just how hard addiction is, and she seems to think if your an addict, your a horrible person. So people are basically accusing me of being this horrible person, when I'm actually a good guy, with a big heart. I know it's not the same as being accused of being inappropriate, rape, or abusive. But I still know how it feels to be thought of something you're just not.

The thing is that PTSD is very serious and yes it can cause someone to react in the way she did. If someone had been abused in their past, their trauma could delude someone to believe physical contact is violent. If caught of guard or they get that small amount of instant fear, it can set it all back off. However this is NOT an isolated incident of Roxannes. Many men came out saying this had happened to them, she had accused them of the same, men she worked with for years said the same about her calling her manipulative and evil. Besides that, she did not react with fear or trauma, she didn't run and leave the house, she didn't avoid Ryan, she simply berated Big Brother and pressured them to take Ryan out of the house. She tried to turn the other housemates against Ryan and caused him to feel isolated. Don't get me wrong, I think she has some kind of attention seeking disorder or another mental illness she needs help with. But her moves in that house with calm, calculated and cruel. She was not acting out of fear and trauma.

So why even mention PTSD when this clearly isnt what that was. Show me one single tear she shed after that incident and I'll consider PTSD. Sounds like narcissistic and histronic personality disorder.

@@notthefather3919 I think they mentioned ptsd because sometimes people who do have the disorder show some signs of thinking that previous abuse is happening with certain contact. To also say if she shed a tear u might believe it’s ptsd so only if someone cries they have ptsd it doesn’t work that way. But they also said that she was wrong here and she acted very calculated it was awful what she did to Ryan. I think the previous comment made was well put it shows the comparisons between a real victim and someone who did what Roxanne did. They never made an excuse in the comment for her so why be negative on their comment when it was well put

You're acting like courts can't spot liars. I'd say the majority of liars get caught out. Michael LeVell didn't need CCTV footage to prove his innocence. The accuser's allegation fell apart after the intense interrogation and scrutiny of their story. It's harder than you think to come up with a perfect lie and have an answer for every question the defence could possibly ask and be consistent without contradicting anything. Plus no footage can actually work in the rapist's favour because how can a woman prove she was raped if he struck in a dark alley with no cameras or witnesses about? It's not all one sided. How many men are roaming free because a woman couldn't proof she was raped beyond reasonable doubt?

@@Fireglo Innocent until proven guilty. Better to let 10 guilty go free than to punish an innocent. Why? Because punishing an innocent means the guilty is still free. No one wins. An innocent is hurt, maybe forever. And more victims could potentially result. Look what false accusations of rape did for the wrongly convicted. Years of their lives gone. Helpless. People giving up on them or outright ostracising them. Dreams, hopes, and opportunities shattered and lost. Because of a lie/unverified claim. And I know how horrible rape is. Unfortunately we need to punish the ACTUAL rapist.

@@Fireglo I don't think anyone's suggesting there aren't men who get away with heinous crimes; it's the fact that the general debate (in the media) is so heavily skewed. Men who are falsely accused are around 20x less likely than women who are raped to see their victim even be charged, much less prosecuted. Even if 'the vast majority of liars get caught out', which I don't think is clear, that doesn't mean they are properly held properly accountable or given a punishment commensurate with the severity of their crime.

@promontorium I suppose in some cases if the individual manages to manifest fantasy with reality they could suffer PTSD. I mean people can seem to manifest unhappiness out of nothing in this day and age and label it with depression so it’s not too far fetched for someone to merge reality and false reality. Odd thing to say, I’ll grant that for my next statement but I think if you’re good looking and you have a good physical image you can get away with more these days. I know I certainly would have much more malice for this woman if she wasn’t as attractive as she is. And to anyone who’s bias has been swayed by her personality and thinks it has made her unattractive, well before all of this she was in FHM. Hardly a mag for munters.

All you people who stupidly think that this evil woman has changed need to take a reality. Her PR agent obviously told her to keep quiet for a year and then make her comeback spouting all the lies and crap she came out with on the show. Roxanne Pallett set about to ruin Ryan Thomas in the most devious, calculated way. For days she tortured the poor guy with her lies, convincing his housemates that he had physically assaulted her. We watched him in tears fearing for his future and fearing that the was about to be arrested, whilst all the time she twisted the knife even further calling him a liar and a manipulator. I just can't imagine where Ryan would be now if cameras had not captured the real incident. Ryan was not the 1st and I'm sure he will not be the last to suffer at her hands. Who in their right mind would want to work with her now. Keep her off the air and off our screens. I'm sure she can find work elsewhere, i.e Tesco, road sweeping, cleaner

Why it happened is much more interesting to me that all this nonsense about not deserving to work again, and "having learned nothing". You need to understand that you don't have a clue what she has or hasn't learned. As for you, you are chronically lacking in the virtues of forgiveness and understanding, and if statistics are anything to go by, there is very likely going to be a time in your life when you will be in need of forgiveness, acceptance and understanding.

Forgiveness doesn’t make what she did go away, even God will send her to purgatory before going to heaven. I will spend a wee bit longer there too because I’m not perfect. Stop preaching forgiveness for one and in the other hand a stripping down another with a different view, it’s not clever and honestly it’s not nice. Edited to add....you are also very threatening as you preach forgiveness. Look at yourself first before jumping on someone else who is just expressing AND is allowed to have a view. I've known people like her. They do not change. Energy doesn't lie. She radiates such insincerity any time I've watched interviews of her. "Forgiveness" is thrown around a lot these days. You don't have to forgive anything. Forgiveness is for people you want to remain in your life. Someone saying something in the heat of the moment and they regret it right away, sure forgive them, but someone actively keeping a lie alive with malicious intent is pathological and should be treated as extremely dangerous. There are lines. People do cross them. It's okay to have standards of basic decent behaviour. If you knew someone had a history of such lying and manipulation would you be thrilled to date them? (an extreme example is - If you knew someone had a history of child molestation would you hire them as your baby sitter?) History is important. When someone like her so obviously shows how mentally abusive they can be, even on 24 hour surveillance broadcast to millions of people, to the point a man's entire life could have been ruined on a whim. That's pretty dangerous and should be treated as such. What is she capable of when in private? People these days want to be seen as empathic and forgiving, as if the contrary means they're a bad person. Manipulative sociopaths will abuse that kind-heartedness every time and they'll never face the consequences that might actually help make a positive change in their behaviour.
