A Douglas!; A Douglas! My mother was a Douglas from the Scots-Irish Douglas Clan. Came to America in the 18th century. I grew up hearing about the family. Thank you for this video.

Im sure the guard on castle duty rued the day when he didn't check the said cattle for the Scots coming to take back their own . As for the mother i hope she returned to England and told them the Black Douglas let them go unscathed. Great tales of historical Scottish figures . Thanks

So what were the clan Douglas then??? I come from the town called Castle Douglas, named after the Douglas clan, who lived in threave castle, the most feared clan in the south west of Scotland in the 15 hundreds. It took the king of Scotland and thousands of men to get them to surrender. Read your history.
