I agree 100% This tune reminds me of when I was your age or a little younger. I'd go to school dances at my junior high school and the DJ would play these tunes. I remember two girl classmates of mine and I would dance together at the events.

Most corporate operations don't even ATTEMPT to change music. If a song is a hit, they look at the song and say "Oh, ballads are back in" or "Oh, synths are popular again", etc. They know they can't count on re-creating a lightning strike. So they just mass-produce FORMS of music that they have reason to believe are 'hot' at the moment. It probably does make them more money in the long run, but it's a cookie-cutter approach to making music.

In a time Where the sun descends alone I ran a long, long way from home To find a heart that's made of stone I will try I just need a little time To get your face right out of my mind To see the world through different eyes Everytime I see you Oh, I try to hide away But when we meet it seems I can't let go Everytime you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower Tell me why When I scream, there's no reply When I reach out, there's nothing to find When I sleep, I break down and cry Cry, yeah Everytime I see you Oh, I try to hide away But when we meet it seems I can't let go Everytime you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower Fading like a rose Fading like a rose Beaten by the storm Talking to myself Getting washed by the rain It's such a cold, cold town Ooh, it's such a cold town Everytime I see you Oh, I try to hide away But when we meet it seems I can't let go Everytime you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower Everytime I see you Oh, I try to hide away But when we meet it seems I can't let go Everytime you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a Everytime I see you Oh, I try to hide away But when we meet it seems I can't let go Everytime you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower Everytime you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower Everytime I see you Fading like a rose Everytime you leave the room Everytime I see you

BEWARE alternate or hideen meanings in arts and media. This includes music, movies, videos, comments and basically everything on the Internet. Learn to recognize these meanings so that you can better prepare yourself against the immature people who use these tactics. While some may appear to be with good intention, most are not. The earlier you learn this, the better prepared you will be. You might not believe it now but keep it in mind. It will help you in the future.

80s songs just hit differently. I’m not saying modern songs are better or worse, that’s subjective. But nothing made you want to belt it out in the car till you went deaf like an 80s song. Nothing made you want to dance around your room listening to a song on repeat for hours on end like an 80s song. And with 80s ballads & songs about romance, even if it wasn’t part of a movie’s soundtrack, you could almost see the couple dancing when you closed your eyes.
