Keane was the driving force at united for years and doesn’t get the credit he deserved. You however have picked a player that does get all the credit?? Roy Keane helped his teams win 19 major trophies. He was a brilliant player, tough, demandind and uncompromising. Great passer and tackler. I thought video shortchanged his skill level. Also while his managemnt career didn't workout he did win the Championship with Sunderland and promotion to Premier League. He earned Championship manager of the Year. Great Player

Only non footballing brains underrate Roy Keane. He walks onto every all time premiership 11. Probably along with henry and ashley cole they are the only 3 starters in every persons pick. Across europe, well the fact juve, Real madrid and beyurn munich all wanted him at some point tells you how good he was. I dont ever see any CM voming close to keane in the prem. Viera was top drawer but keane had that little bit more that made his team win. If keane wasnt playing well he made sure everyone else around him was. And the guy ran his socks off every single game. Could defend, could pass, could run all day, chipped in with goals and assists, encouraged his team mates, brought everyone up a level. Simply the best CM the prem has ever seen. Just like that.
