In the scene where Roy is reading to his niece, he’s wearing colorful socks. It’s a tiny detail but it makes me love him even more.

On rewatch I realized that the guy in the restaurant was the driver that picked Ted up at the airport in the first episode. Ted actually listened and remembered him instead of just ignoring the guy and treating him like the hired help ...

Best Ted joke was in the pilot. Jamie says, "Cheers", and Ted replies, "Night Court". So subtle yet so brilliant.

5:28 Okay listen, I'm gonna be honest with y'all. Ever since I got introduced to SNL as a foreigner, Jason Sudeikis has been one of my celebrity crushes but I kinda would not mention him when the topic came up 'cause I got jugded hard one or two times. As a grown up now, Jason Sudeikis is a super sweet and also very hot man. He is sooo fine.

So glad to see you all continuing with this! Love the character of Roy Kent, largely because he's based upon one of the most beloved players to ever play for Manchester United, Roy Keane. Roy (and Rebecca for that matter) is the perfect example of a jaded optimist. Rough and barbed exterior but total marshmallow inside who want to hope for the best. In regards of Roy's age, I think he's about in his mid/late 30s. Which, sadly, in both European and American football, is around the age most players think about retiring, as most players start their careers around 18 to 21, sometimes younger in Europe. Thanks for the rec about Abbott Elementary! Two episodes in and I love it. It feels silly to ask with as talked about as the show is, but have you both checked out Marvelous Mrs. Maisel yet? Season 4 is about to drop and the show is another bright spot of television to watch. Especially if you're a performing artist.

I wanted to see what Jason Sudeikis's relationship status is to see if he was available for Alex. I knew he was married to Olivia Wilde but for some stupid reason they are now divorced. She's an incredible human being. Great actor, great director. She's directing the upcoming Spider-woman movie. It's going to be almost impossible to find someone better. He hasn't. I don't know if his relationship came first or the series. I think this was going to happen anyway since Juno Temple is partially basing her performance on this person. Turns out he's now seeing Keeley Hazell. I'm sure she's a lovely person. She used to be a page 3 girl. If that's not a familiar term it means what it says. In some of the lesser quality newspapers the third page would have a barely clothed woman with a voluptuous body. That's where Keeley started. Then she made a living being in mens mags like FHM and Loaded before they all died out. After that she started dating footballers/soccer players. Now she's seeing Jason Sudeikis. Make of that what you will. She actually shows up in the series as Bex, Rupert's new girlfriend.

I love Ted Lasso the best comedy on TV right now. By the way, if you want to check out the best written drama on TV right now, might check out the Yellowstone prequel, 1883, on Paramount +. This new western series is absolutely amazing and gets better every single week. Also, stars Academy Award nominee Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, LaMonica Garrett, and new actress Isabel May. It also has 2 A-list Movie Star cameos by Tom Hanks and Billy Bob Thornton. Thought you might like the series. :)

Yeah I don't know why Hulu isn't available here either. That's why I was hoping they'd fold it in with Disney+. Instead we got STAR here in Australia. The only real difference is that Hulu has all those older shows like I heard they have every season of ER available. We don't get that. All the new series by which I mean any series producing new episodes show up either on STAR or Disney+ which is where Abbot Elementary is. I should specify STAR is just another tab within Disney+ so we still only pay for Disney+ and get all the other stuff on there. That's the trade off. I haven't seen Abbot Elementary yet because I only just checked to see it was on there. All the stuff they got from Fox is on Disney+ too. All the FX series like It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia are on Disney+. Any movie put on Hulu goes straight to Disney+. It is kind of frustrating that things like ER aren't available anywhere. Hopefully one day they'll fold Hulu into DIsney+ as well and the rest of us can enjoy the older series that are available too.

I accept your proposal for how the channel should run. I talk a lot out loud to myself while watching stuff and I've seen most everything so it'd be me watching something for the however many times I've watched it but I'll give all sorts of insights and terrible jokes and stuff. It'll be like watching a movie or series with a know it all. Being that it won't be the first time we'll be able to talk through it and it'll be like friends hanging out. It'd have to be after I've seen it or we somehow binge it together because I don't know if I could help myself from bingeing. This way it's part of the deal. I empathise with you not being able to watch it all at once. You should be able to be as comfortable as the rest of us. Nobody should have to put on makeup to watch TV. Then it becomes like a job instead of a recreational activity. I think that was all I had to say. I lost my train of thought. End of comment.

1 - Do y'all not have a Patreon? I'd definitely subscribe at least as long as you were reacting to Ted Lasso. 2 - I get how it'd be tough to have to force yourself to pace out how you watch; can y'all not watch several eps and then just put them up after they're edited and ready to go? Because if you're only going to watch one a week, then yeah, that's tough. I were you, I think I'd at least knock out 2 or 3 a week and just be okay with putting them up on youtube on a bit more of a delay than usual.
