God is close to the brokenhearted have you ever seen a parade? when you are watching the parade go by you do not see the whole thing all at once you just see each band walk by you but God is like a helicopter pilot he looks down he can see the whole parade all at once...the beginning of the parade and the end of the parade at the same time that's the way he sees Our Lives he sees the day we were born and the day we will die and anything we have done wrong that would keep us out of Heaven God took it all and put it on Jesus Jesus has already paid it all the second that you believe this you can know that you are going to heaven please share this

Floor Jsnsen. Im not kidding. Her voice control is out of this world. Listen to her solo tour setlist if you're not much into heavier, big pieces. Or watch they've in Wacken 2012 show, where she was only with the band for a few weeks. The 2018 Decades live show in Brazil is more recent, her voice matured and she totally adopted all the songs before her and sings a few of the first album she was the singer on. The fantastic song writer of the band totally knows how to appreciate her voice and show her capabilities.

When they asked Elvis who he felt was had the greatest singing voice, his reply, ‘Roy Orbison”

The Elvis vs Roy argument is interesting. It comes down to what a person likes. And singing is more that just vocal range. Otherwise Sam Smith would be at the top and I can barely stand to hear his voice. To me, nobody surpasses Elvis. He had the most beautiful voice I ever heard in rock and roll and he was the most versatile. He was a rock, country, and gospel star. Nobody including the Beatles had a greater influence on those that came after him. Don't get me wrong, I love Roy Orberson. But Elvis is the King.

Hahaaa! He also said that about Roy Hamilton. And Jackie Wilson. Elvis admired lots of artist. And many in turn admired his voice also. I can't imagine being surrounded by so much talent.

Classic, forever, and melodramatic, just like those teen years when innocence was penalized and just as quickly a new love came along. Jackson Browne's in homage, paying his tribute. Makes my day. Smiles come unbidden, and whoosh! back to 50s and 60s in the blink of an eye. Thx for this.

Elvis was envious of only one other singer and that was Roy. To me Roy was truly the king of rock pop during his incredible career and I had the pleasure of meeting him and spending some time with him.A true gentleman and enormous talent. He is in my top 10 of all time favorites..His songs will remain in our minds and hearts forever!

For sheer vocal chops it is very close between Roy and Frankie Valli. Elvis for as great as he was didn't have the range of these two.

@@csyelo6173 Agreed. Although I think Frankie sang more often in falsetto than Roy. I could be wrong. Elvis might surprise you with some of the songs on "Sunrise" if you can get a copy of that.

I grew up listen to this man, I remember being 7 years old and my dad buying his album in the record shop next to the jewellers where he’d taken me to have my ears pierced..... It takes me back to being up in bed and my dad having friends over after the pub and they’d play the records and sing along, we(me and my brothers) would sit at the top of the stairs trying to hear who was down there and working out what chance we had of being aloud down! Many happy memories
