My family (husband, 2 sons 13yo & 9yo) and I lived in a camper for almost a year while we were moving cities. We found out we didn’t need as much space or things as we thought we did. We were able to downsize our house by about half which allows us to do more traveling. You are going to have a fantastic adventure!

So far we think we're pretty good maybe brought a few too many clothes. Remember that we can't run to the store so most of that stuff is consumables for over the next 9 months. Will let you know as we get to the end of the cruise how are estimations worked😃

I've only been on 5 cruise ships, but Serenade of the Seas was by far my favourite. Perfect size, in my opinion. Large enough to have lots of things to do and plenty of quiet nooks and crannies, but small enough to have a more intimate feel than the mega-ships. The feel of being on a ship, rather than a floating shopping mall. Absolutely loved the outdoor seating area behind the buffet.

All the Royal Caribbean ships we have been on have magnetic walls and ceilings. But we have heard of other cruise lines where this is not the case so be sure to check with your cruise line.

We brought a 9-month supply of all that we could, there was one that they will be refilling on the ship. Royal Caribbean is doing that at a very reasonable price and doing a great job with it.
