I think the bear is what guerilla should have looked like. Guerrilla is just too funky and weird for me, especially with those colours. But the bear looks awesome.

The great thing is there now plenty of choice to suit all, all the RE bikes I’ve riden recently have been spot on.
@Brettmotorcycles5 күн бұрын
@@thatbikersimonthe guerilla is more intriguing since I own the SM and same engine …this is a way RE saves money but producing the same bike in so many different forms…the bear has some issues with scrambler form, weight, tubed tires, ground clearance. If you compare to 400x much lighter, better ground clearance, tubeless tires, about same HP

The Bear wins on tech, finish and quality. Love the green frame. The BSA cause it's a single cylinder and might look more "authentic" ? Will depend on the price and the OTR reviews but RE is bound to sell better due to it being a more established brand

Again, Royal Enfield done a great job using their proven platform, that INT Bear looks great ( i realy like all the color scemes shown there ) i could realy see me in the future get one. For BSA styling wise it's ok ( but front headlight to little in my opinion, and no clue about the dashboard ) , but once again to many questions for a revival brand, could ( for curiosity ) try one for a test ride but wont buy one. RE getting better and better, large dealership network around the world ( and examping ), price wise depending on were you live, can be expensive, and that's the case here ( more expensive than an MT07 or a Hornet 750 ), and that's the only blocking point for now.

The BSA looks a little bit cheap in the metal. Not a criticism really, as it is a cheap bike..but the RE definitely looks more premium. Nobody is off-roading a 215kg street scrambler anyway, so just buy which one you prefer the look of. The aesthetics will be the deciding factor.

Having done a 'Top Trump' comparison, the Bear comes out on top. The only thing that might sway me is if the BSA is at least £1000 cheaper. I wish RE had used a 650cc air cooled single and twin centrally mounted clocks like the Interceptor. I don't care for two tone vertically split LOUD colours on the tank which appear to be the latest fashion for both RE and BSA.

If I were spending £6500 I would go Royal Enfield after BSA's deep discounting destroyed any hope of Goldstar residual value.
