As a Super Meteor 650 and Classic 350 owner this new Classic 650 has defiantly got the taste buds tingling 😂 what a cracking looking bike, wouldn't even think of parting with my two bikes as they are keepers, Royal Enfield are market leaders in their bike styling and prices. Would like to see an all black version and gun metal grey, lets hope there are a few more colours to come. 👍Great video 👍

Gorgeous bike and a definite hit. For me though as a twin surely Constellation would've been better. Classic to me is either a 350 or 500 cc single. My Classic 500 is safe for now.

Cheers Andy. No denying they look lovely and the 650cc engine sounds magnificent. I’m guessing they’re only showing the bike in the single seat configuration because the addition of the passenger seat lessens the look of those quite Bobber-esque lines. Colour look good, don’t think the red will be as popular, and what’s with the signature logo?, the font they’ve used reminded me of the “That’s all folks” one at the end of Warner Bros. cartoons 😂

Script typefaces are a terrible idea on manufacturing badges. When the Shotgun arrived I said we'd seen the Classic 650 minus the chrome, and so it has proved. Too bobberish for some trads, I feel.

They got more than enough 650 twins . This new one needs to be a big 650 single thumper for everyday all weather use . No need for much power on UK roads with speed humps , chicanes , cameras , plod in unmarked cars , busy roads & speed limits ranging from 20 mph to 70 mph .

I have been googling multiple times a week since they discontinued the 500 years ago if they would come out with one with enough power for US roads, I couldn't be happier, not thrilled with the color schemes but think youre right the black chrome looks the best. no doubt in my mind I will buy this on release and maybe wrap it in old army green or squadron blue. THIS is the bike ive been waiting for. and more importantly RE understands if you want people to buy your bikes, make good looking, great machines: AT A REASONABLE PRICE

@@TheMissendenFlyer I love the idea. The 350 is such a pretty bike, but it'd be not much use to me as I'm of, shall we say, a large stature. The 650 looks almost as pretty, and the extra grunt would be welcome. I think with a couple of bags and a nice screen it'd be perfect!

You have to admire how RE have marketed this 650 engine, it's been in so many variants it's not true. They've really nailed it again, personally I'm happy with the Eliminator I've just bought, so i won't be buying one, but it does look nice that's for sure and the build quality seems to improve with every new bike they introduce.

Yes ... the Classic wins on styling, but the Shotgun wins on practicality (eg convertible seat, cast wheels). One is for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride and the other one is a daily workhorse.

I did a RE demo ride last weekend riding Classic and Hunter 350s as well as Shotgun and INT 650s and prefer the intercity feel of the 350s versus the 650s. Also rode the Himalayan 450 and so I think it’s something special about how RE does single cylinder engines. So Classic 350 and Shotgun 650 (for an alternate RE 650) for me. Still, the Classic 650 is a lovely and logical choice and I expected them so sell boat loads. I hope they don’t get rid of the Classic 350 range though, they’re my favorite RE at this point.

Gorgeous bike, I love the Chrome and Black. Colour choice aside, the Shotgun is so close in style and much less to polish. Not to forget some good deals to be had. And our local dealer has a nice Interceptor loaded with goodies and another amazing deal. Decisions decisions. Royal Enfield keeps making great bikes.

I have a Cont 650...test rode a Classic 350 a few years back and haven't been able to get it out my mind since...such a great ride. If this 650 version rides like the 350, I'll be trading in my Cont 650 for one.

There's a 650 for basically all audiences now which seems ideal. I think the Bear 650 is most suited to my use case but the Classic looks stunning too, love the chunky 1950s styling.

Either the black/chrome version or the blue for mine . I don’t carry pillions as a rule but I do use a rack and top box as a permanent fixture. Ground clearance? Sounds like something scraping on those videos. A centre stand would be handy.

Finally! Had a test ride on the 350 and, quite honestly, it was way too slow for my liking. But with the 650 engine? That's now a true option. Especially if they come up with a retro looking S&S exhaust option. Ouh, now that'd be delicious.
