This company RE is so damn lucky. Even for their rotten WW2 era technology, they have got enthusiastic buyers willing to shell out any amount of money to buy this ancient junk. I haven't seen anybody so lucky in the business or life.

80% of their sales is only through one bike (350 classic) not any other bike they produced sells that much, if they discontinue 350 classic then see what happen to RE

At 5:40 of the video, you are revving hard on a second gear, how can you not expect a bike to vibrate on a lower gear, and that too the rpm limit has been achieved. Even a 4 cylinder engine will vibrate like hell with this scenario to take.

ace 1121 bro.. You said 3-4 years.. Its not even a year it had developed terrible big crack at cone set joint and that is circulating everywhere. Problem in engine wheels alloys or anything can accepted. Problem in Chassis is not at all acceptable. You have to change the bike. Thats it..

This bike is not designed for speed. It’s meant for not so good roads, and the leh Ladakh sort of terrain. It’s sweet spot is between 80 and 100 on the highways. 0-100 doesn’t really matter.

I wouldnt risk it to be honest. I drive a continental gt and have had a bad experience with it overall and when i drove a himalayan that my friend owned, i felt that the clutch was wayy to heavy. Point to be noted is both of us are enthusiasts and mainatain our bikes well. Since the conti was bought when it launched i have no regrets, back then it was a good motorcycle. Now all said and done the enfields dont seem to make a strong case as they used to a few years ago.

@dhruvsharmas7 жыл бұрын
When u go at 10 kph u won't feel the potholes..did u notice how the front suspension lunges going off the speed breaker..false neutral is a big issue particularly when u r going in bad terrain. Other options of bikes are Ducati multistrada enduro.. Honda Africa twin and BMW r1200gs.. which are actual adventure touring bikes with none of the aforesaid issues
@dhruvsharmas7 жыл бұрын
Faisal Khan so does Himalayan..You can take a splender to leh without breaking a sweat. People took 60 cc tvs moped to leh..I found the lunge of the bike really dangerous on the speed breaker.. I saw another one of our videos in which u took multi and tiger to somewhere near lonavala. An advice.. when u go off-road..Never ever keep bike on the mid portion of road which is higher than sides..ull always slip. Always put the bike in the deepest part cos that's where car and truck tyres have passed compacting the road.. even if u slip u have the higher sides to put feet on
@dhruvsharmas7 жыл бұрын
Another issue you mentioned was the vibration over 4000 rpm which progressively gets worse...thats the rpm people are going to be riding it in while going on long trips..this bike was made for people who end up going to leh..from Delhi or other places...imagune that kind of vibration for 13 hours Delhi to manali.. all bones will collect somewhere in the feet after 3 hours...this is after all a long distance bike..
@dhruvsharmas7 жыл бұрын
mAnIsH kUmAr Your life is worth at least 100 times the value of the himalyan..What superman mentioned is actually very correct... ive been to leh many times... and in such terrain lighter bike is an advantage.. First time i went to leh was in 1993.. on way back from leh there was a big landslide with rock boulders covering road just before manali.. it the heap was roguhly 10 feet high on one side and 20 on the other.. told my pillion to get down.. and walk behind me.. just took the Rx100 over the entire heap and we were on our way with my pillion sometimes helping me lift the bike over bigger boulders... You cant do that with any heavy bike

In normal traffic heat temperature goes up to 48 ℃..which is absolutely unbearable and gives the feeling that your leg's inner side near knees is burning severely.. Showroom guy suggested me to install plane plates near engine to avoid heat reaching your leg's but I don't think it will work. As per off roading is considered there is no match for this bike in indian market. REMEMBER : HEATING IN HIMALAYAN IS SEVERE AND IT CAN MAKE YOUR RIDE IN CITY TRAFFIC A HELL...
