Just picked up a klr650 , Ive seen people ride Sam houston, but haven't had anything that Id feel comfortable riding dirt roads in a while.

It’s definitely a great place re-introduce off-road riding! The OHV single track routes are a little challenging but the main dirt roads are inviting and fun.

Just moved to the area from Fort Worth and the forest is so big I don't even know where to start. Where are some of the good spots to get on dirt roads out there?

Lots of good spots to start! Try the East Side Trailhead if you’re looking for a decent central point. 143 Forest Service Rd 233, New Waverly, TX 77358
