This could be game changing for the UK market, if the price is similarly low as it is in India. It could be a brand new accessible motorcycle with good build quality that young people can actually justify spending a little money on.

Its better to make 350 and 650 than making a 500. Satisfies both people
@PahaLukki8 ай бұрын
The 350 only needs modifications to get 4-14 hp more, a 6-speed gear box with a true high gear, maybe a few cc more like 360. But in all honesty, the size and weight shouldn't escalate. Hunter 350 is already heavyish, though on a grand scale of motorbikes a light weight still. But if you make a 500, and it makes 40 hp, you get too much power and too much weight. It will no longer be fun. G310R with 34 hp is perfect for a max 155 km/h true speed. Now what Hunter does better is fuel economy and torque. That is the long stroke advantage. They shouldn't compromise too much on that. Also air cooling is simple, but of course a heavy design...

The Chasis is not completely new. Re cannot be bothered to make a new chasis for a new motorcycle as long as the older does the job. They couldn't even bother to retune this 350 cc long stroke monk of an engine to suit the sporty characteristics of this bike. They couldn't even be bothered to tuck the wires in which seem like an after thought hanging about messily. Luckily in India we have a long stroke 350 Honda equivalent to RE, the highness cb350.
