If you still have problems with mud cakeing up under the lower front mud guard try adding some spacers between the forks and the mount that should help a bit.

I’ve been slowly changing mine to a scrambler also. I’m using a Himalayan windshield so I don’t need the front fairing however I really like the Bonvent front fender kit. I just spent a large amount of money on exhaust but it’s not installed yet.

Sieht gut aus deine Interceptor. Ich habe eine GT 650. Hab mir im Winter den flattracker lenker montiert. Richtig entspanntes fahren. Nur längere Gaszüge und Kupllungszug musst du neu haben. Hab ich bei Hitchcock in 7,5 cm länger. Die Bremsleitung musst du dann von der linken seite auf die rechte verlegen. Dann passt alles perfekt. Weiterhin viel Spaß beim schrauben. Lg

I don't think it looks better actually. But I must admit I don't care how it looks. I am more interested in that it performs better. What was the problem with the stones getting stuck and how does the new shorter front fender (that is bolted where the old one was) help with this? Also, did you only remove and not replace the rear fender? What was the problem with that one?

Yes in the Short Part they stil will get Stuck but i had the Front fender of the xj Break at the Front Because of Rocks getting stuck so it should have less issues with that.

I agree. Could have saved a lot of the money just adding spaces to the front mudguard and find a small cage to add to the existing headlight setup.

@@dedosauro i don’t remember the exact Brand but. They are pretty easy to find. I Like to Search the French Web to find Parts for the interceptor they do good stuff and you should be able to find These Parts in the First few Pages

hi, I see you've put K60 Scout 110/80/18 on front and 140/80/18 on the rear. Any issues with fitting those sizes? Did you have to change tubes as well?

No same tubes worked only issue was the absolute pain in the ass of getting them registerd in Germany and through the roadworthyness

Hallo, ich habe eine Frage zu den Reifen…. Hast du diese Beine TÜV abgenommen bekommen und sind sie in die Zulassung eingetragen… Ich bin leider mit dieser Bereifung beim TÜV gescheitert und müsste alles zurückbauen. Hoffe du kannst mir helfen. Grüße Andy

Ja hab die beim tüv eingetragen bekommen. Es ist leider immer die selbe Leier man muss wen kennen der wen kennt beim tüv. Sonst macht sich keiner die Arbeit sich das wirklich anzuschauen es gibt keinen Grund warum diese Reifen nicht durchkommen sollten

Mein Rat: fahr zu mehreren tüvs ( erstmal teuer und nervig) wen du ein hast der bemüht ist wo man zusammen schauen kann was er eintragen würde, bei dem selben Modell schon eingetragen hat dann zu dem immer gehen. Am besten sich ein wenig bekannt werden so das man auch mal vor Umsetzung eines Projektes zusammen überlegen kann.

Du kannst auch zu einer Werkstatt gehen und den sagen das die den tüv drauf machen sollen. Oft haben Werkstätten einen viel besseren Kontakt und bekommen deutlich mehr durch den tüv einfach weil die im ständigen Kontakt mit dem tüv sind und meistens auch die Prüfer kennen wissen an welchem Wochentag welcher Prüfer da ist und wer da was durchlässt.

Reisende Prüfer in kleinwerstätten sind auch ne gute Idee. Hoffentlich war das hilfreich
