I know a lot of people complain about the heel/toe shifter but I think they're a good idea, especially to avoid damaging your shoe top over time or trying to wedge a big boot under the shifter. I'd be interested to know what it'd be like on the interceptor. My first bike, a 1968 Honda S90 had one

I bought myself a blue Supernova last year and by god I absolutely adore it. Loads of charm, looks fantastic, comfortable and very economical. I did an air box mod and put a Red Rooster exhaust on her which gives a bit more power and sounds fantastic. My only gripe is.. Maybe would have been nice if it was a 500 but hay hoo.. I have a collection of bikes from a C90 to GTR1400 and 9 time out of 10 I'm on the Meteor... PS.. If you own a Meteor that makes you a Meteorite.

I've had a FIreball Yellow Meteor 350 since September 20, 2021. i LOVE IT! It has a slight, feet forward position, but it's not totally foot forward; it's not totally cruiserish. When my brother had his Marauder 1600, I could never get my feet on the pegs, because they were too far forward for me. That's not the case with the Meteor. They're just far enough forward to be comfortable, but not so far forward that you're stretched out. The bike's heavy enough to take the disturbances from a big truck, er lorry, but it's light enough to easily move around. It's nimble and maneuverable, but it's not twitchy. Even when ridden in a spirited manner, my Meteor will get 67-68 mpg (that's per US gallon); that translates to 80-80 mpg using Imperial gallons. I have a tinted fly screen, a Hitchcock's luggage rack, matching tail pack, and I have the DNA high flow filter and bellmouth on my bike. The high flow air filter and intake not only improve the sound (it thumps like it MEANS it!); it has better pickup. I can actually use fifth gear more too. Anyway, I LOVE MY METEOR! It's all a retired 60 year old guy needs... :)

@digitalsublime2 жыл бұрын
@@Itachi_Uchia1 No man, it hasn't arrive at my country, I almost went with the interceptor. But for me riding beyond fun, is a practical thing, if the bike can go 100kmh relaxed with great fuel economy, low insurance and permit fees, low cost on filters and parts, I will enjoy it more because of the ease of mind than a more powerful bike that I probably rarely will use the extra power but I will have to fork permanently more money for no good reason beyond "street cred" ego.

@@Itachi_Uchia1 Here the highways are pretty comparable to US in terms of speeds. But I purposely take the B roads, they have twisties and you can pull over to stretch (piss) 😅 way more fun and relaxed than a straight highway in my 200km ride I spend like 20mn more by the B road, but I also save plenty money on tolls. And yeah 350 long stroke is the sweet spot in my book 🤙

The bike has a side stand sensor that should be visible in the dash (see the orange light), and it automatically kills the engine if you engage the side stand. Conversely, it won't let you start the engine if the side stand is engaged. Also, show us the beautiful cafe you were talking about once :)

Adjusting the gear shifter on a Classic involves partly disassembling the frame (it's just one bolt at the front, I think) to allow the shift lever to by removed and rotated on the splines.
