good validation of the same question in my head. I will get a Guerilla scrambler ... thanks a lot for answering that question !

Royal Enfield class it as a Roadster. I've had one since Sept 1st and now covered 400 miles on it. Its road manners are impeccable which is where it will be used. The stock suspension is excellent as is the build quality and it goes like you know what off a shovel and more than capable of long distance motorway riding. The OEM Seat is excellent also and I suffer with an arthritic spine. All in all a great value bike, I'm well happy, although perhaps a little biased as I've had 3 Classic 350s, 3 Meteors and a Himalayan so you could say I like REs. Comparing it to say the Triumph 400 speed the Guerilla is the far better bike, very sujective I know! Thanks for posting your Video, always interesting to hear others views and takes on a bike.🙂👍

@@jonathandeeley6276 Hi Johnathan.. Glad your loving your new Enfield… As I said in the vlog it was a very impressive little bike…I haven’t ridden the 400 triumph so I couldn’t compare… I’d go for the Guerrilla though … I wonder if they’ll use it as a platform for other derivatives.. It’s crying out to be a scrambler I know that….Anyway, what a fantastic little ( by today’s standards) little bike.. Enjoy! 🙂👍ATB..

Followed you over from Sandy, Wiltshire Man. You two have a great combination at Sammy Miller day out, thankyou . This bike I'd think I'd buy a Himalayan but can see a city rider may like the sportier more compact bike. "Hymi Hunter' made me laugh I thought Hunts Himalayans? Subscribed and looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks mate from Jim in Western Australia.

Hi Dickie, another nice bike review there mate. I’m not really a lover of the modern looking spacecraft type bikes but I do like the look of that little bike. It’s just got a good look about it for a modern bike. I had most of the late 70’s and all the 80’s bikes so that is my real biking era. Thank you for another great review Dickie all your films are very interesting and much appreciated. Take care, best regards Chris. 🍻👍👍

I liked himalayan 450, but I mostly ride in city so I was worried it would be not the best bike for everyday commuting. But I was looking for a bike that could take me on longer touring trips (motorways), and explore some gravel roads. And RE comes up with PERFECT bike for me. Maybe it has identity crisis because its not excelent in one thing, but good/great in multiple. It fits my needs perfectly. Sold my bike to get this one once its available in my country

Nice video. I think the proper riding reguster with this bike is keeping it in higher rot\min, you ride it like on a 350 classic, change up the gears to early i think, can't feel much difference in "performance" mode. This is the feeling watching the video. I love RE 's everyone for what they are, but imho this is destinited to be rided in a different way., somehow like the finnish muzic is😊 About construction, you are absolutely right with the cooler radiator protection lack, and that wide transversal pozition is even worse, exposing the end's, a vertical pozition might be proper, like on the other RE's.

I road tested this machine although only for 30 miles, liked the lightness power and brakes but the suspension on poorly surfaced roads was very hard, the colour seemed designed to attract younger riders than myself so its a bike I wanted to love but after riding, I'll pass. Enjoyed your vlog.

On starting off and lack of throttle pickup, Forgotten Motorcycles, AKA Fuzzy Biker and Baxter Motorcycles found on the himi 452 if you start releasing the clutch the revs pickup and then you open the throttle, if understand correctly and if works Guerrilla. As nice as both 452's are I'm keeping to the H 411.. as Fuzzy Biker just showed on Himalaya the Air Filter/Tappets check.. have you seen where the Sparkplug is located...! Job on the road in the dark.
@DickieMintCyclesАй бұрын
@@dewipeach I’ll have a look at those channels … the filter is under the tank I guess….This is a big thing with the Australian guys.. They don’t like hard to get at filters as they’re always having to clean the dust out apparently…

@@DickieMintCycles I'd mentioned the filter location in context talking on the simplicity of 411 over the 452.. their comment everything had to come off their Sport bike to get at almost anything, not to mention Service, so are we looking to deep on elsewise a well designed bike the 452 is really..!

@@DickieMintCycles I guess also new suspension. That would probably raise the final cost considerably and bring bikes like the Triumph 400x into the game. But yes, it could be done.

I think it’s a sweet stylish little bike that is quite different to anything else…. I guess it’s just if you like it but it not worry about it identity…. a bit disappointed in the rad, it looks more like something from a Morris Minor and also the strange little almost cheap fixes in like the brake clip at the pedal… and these things can be too easily fiddled with. It’s interesting actually it’s exactly the same weight wet as my old 650 BSA Thunderbolt, and it has brought to mind on medications why are modern bikes so heavy and also big dimensions…. ….but I think it has a place in the market and by all accounts they are flying off the shelves so I guess it’s a good start…..

@@johncranwell3783 Your right John… If you like the bike it doesn’t really matter what it’s supposed to be styling wise.. It's a bike. You use it as a bike. It may be better at some things and worse at others. I've used bikes for fun, for commuting, for touring, for carting tools, for carrying a passenger. Same bike can do many things. So I don't bother with labels, and trying to pigeonhole bikes. Yeah, it's not a trails bike like you'd see doing back flips off a ramp in an arena. And it's not a Goldwing style continental cruising armchair. But I bet it could be if someone really tries. Lol.
