So this is a quick vid on the problems I have with using royal mail which has cost me hundreds in refunds to my customers 😢

big problems with royal mail they have cost me so much money in refunds to customers and for postage which I have paid for they really are a joke and you cant even speak to someone to resolve the matter 😒😒 comment below what you experiences have been like with royal mail or another postal service .

Advantage to this is the claims process is pretty straight forward - plus you get the list price and your postage back, so you’re actually up because you haven’t paid eBay’s fees. The issue with this is you can’t claim for 10 days, Sod’s law it gets delivered on the 9th day by which point you’ve already had to refund the customer. I never use second class now for this reason.

Sooooo frustrating! Despite my leaving a note on my door to leave parcel with neighbours they still took my parcel back to the sorting office which I can’t get to until Saturday. After my mum’s birthday😡😡🤦‍♂️

Iv had this many times! They loose the item, you loose the postage cost… Iv also had it before were people have bought stuff without reading the actual description return it using returns postage label so iv ended up loosing my own postage cost and then having to pay there returns postage cost to eBay to then have the item back with me! Puts me off selling on eBay especially when people can’t read the description properly

If you raise a claim they make it so difficult to award a claim. I had to wait 3 months to get my money back

Bit like EVRI, Hermes service was so bad they changed their name but not their spots. I had a delivery just dumped on a neighbour’s doorstep and that was that EVRI insisted it had been delivered to a door with a cat flap (photo) which we don’t have, totally useless. I paid good money to go deliver the parcel to myself, EVRI couldn’t care less. Started selling on Facebook now as its more local and folk just come to pick stuff up. Pity as I was doing quite well on eBay. Like you I gave up with the PO via eBay system as a waste of time, effort and money they seem to ‘lose’ more than they delivered or demanded additional fee’s for parcels they claim were light on postage paid….yeah right

yeah this can be a nightmare, I can only say that I would only ever use a tracked service with them, there is Evry of course, and a few others but can be expensive, I've just had an Evry delivery, by mistake, for someone 10 doors away...they don't even seem to be able to read numbers on outside of house!

The thing is some items only worth £10 and I offer free postage to UK and charge around £4 overseas but if I would change for tracked postage it was cost nearly and sometimes more than the items cost

Imagine you're bank sending out a new bank card and royal mail not delivering it. You can't use your existing card because it was reported lost or stolen. How are you supposed to live.

Stop using Royal Mail, a long time ago. Ive gone back to EVRI after there poor record was published and have been 100% better since .Using their print own label service and not lost any thing since

Royal Mail . What’s the problem. Post office very helpful if there is a problem. Just get a claim form and hand it back to the staff. Usually get a refund within 30 days

The problem is they don't deliver your parcels and lose them and the customer service line doesn't work so you can't talk to anyone one to sort it out.
