Great vid and amazing story of resilience. Many of them are more than one year old. I assume they must have split up in small groups and then regrouped with the lone lioness. Looks like the big male is the matriarch with the 6 adolescent males on the verge of leaving the pride soon to become kings. I’d love to hear their back story of how they got down from one to where they are at now.

There is also the Sparta pride, the Southern lioness, and the daughter of the Selaties they are all lone lionesses. I think the Tsala with her daughter will have more cubs now but with new male lions or the Avocas. It’s going to be hard for the Sparta lioness she is daughter of the Rollercoster male lions that’s how old she is about 14? The Selatie daughter has a male son. The Southern lioness seems to be in the best position with the new male lions helping her.

So he's the last of the Giraffe coalition. He's got 6 sons though & those sons r healthy. Hopefully father & sons become a coalition. Will be a powerful coalition with a powerful leader.

Yes, may they flourish. As to any donations directed to the park, no way. I've heard of animals dying from severe cases of mange, animals that could have been tranquilized and treated but weren't because there wasn't enough money. They make tens of thousands from the tourists, yet they have no money to invest in their wonderful animals care. Is it because of the managers having quick pockets? Or the governing authority shorting the take? Until they fix their accounting practices to include independent audits and start reinvesting in the animals care, I will keep sending whatever donations I make to well regarded charities.
