That's not training that is only the 90-day selection process for PARA Special Forces. 3.5 years training begins after candidates (11 Candidates as in this video) pass this 90-day selection process. None information is available what-so-ever on the training process as it is highly secretive.

The speedrun at the start was 10 KM , The water they drank was juice with rehydration solution , they were telling them it was the water from the place they bathed in in the morning to play with their mind.Also after this they have to complete a 100 KM run to complete the selection process ,they havent passed it in the end of this video , there is another video that shows the 100 KM march from this same documentary u can go watch that , then advanced training begins after that.

Okay, so 4:13 they got like only 1 or 2 hours of sleep per day for a week or something that's what the video says 5:26 the Major says here there'll be one trainer in a non-para volunteer form what will like I don't know like keep telling you to quit I don't really quite understand what they say but it's like either it'll be like SAS or any kinda SF training or selection process where the instructors or trainers be like "Quit and leave " or there'll be a trainer within the team disguised as a volunteer that'll encourage or you to leave and go back to your regiment 7:20 the typical "No man left behind" 10:47 If the log is around 80 kgs only then you can have a mate or battle buddy to share the weight with 11:33 they are completely exhausted 11:57 few are injured and the strength or the count drops from 16 to 13 12:37 12 foot tank and the rest is can they handle extreme stress? if not you're out 13:49 the guy with NO. 1 chose to quit 14:45 it's not the water that you think it is it's actually juice with rehydration solution that just looks and sounds disgusting 16:03 they have to remember tiny details (not very tiny) that you can easily miss out while you're circling the circuit 16:41 exhausted and hungry 18:05 time to eat 18:20 as soon as food enters your body you get that sleepy thingy basically your body demands sleep after food enters the body when it's entirely exhausted 19:58 The guy just quit 22:26 The get ambushed, trapped they provide medical attention or first aid to their wounded battle buddies and they have to make stretchers on their own 23:36 is simulated evac with a wounded battle buddy with self-made stretchers which is 2 km away from their position 23:06 it's all about mental pressure and continue working efficiently 25:39 11 remaining out 23 and the 11 completed the course, okay and that's it. Oh god, that was exhausting and umm this is not it there's definitely more stuff they didn't show and umm new subscriber here so hope this translation works for you.

Dumbest thing is a royal marine comparing their training to Indian Special forces. Maroon Berets or Paratroopers are the toughest badasses of Indian forces and frankly marines are comparable to just the regular soldiers. Smart thing would be to compare them to SAS and based on numerous counts, its just the gear that makes them SAS a better force but no one compares to Indian Paratroopers in will power and strength. They have repeatedly given finger to SEALS, SAS, GIGN, Green Berets and more in cross-training exercises.

bro it looks really tough but the truth is that what you saw is not everything that the soldiers have to go through .Indian army never reveals every selection process ,they are really strict about it.

The language spoken in the video is "Hindi".It is the official language of India. Apart from this there are more than 50 languages spoken in India. You can also react to the training videos of NSG commandos.Their training is also very tough. The water given to the commandos is pure drinkable water in which special herbs are mixed to prevent dehydration. If you are really interested in knowing more about commando training you are most welcome to India.

This video is not actually para sf training, this is just a part ( not the full process) of the selection process for normal soldiers from different regiments into para sf. At any point if the soldier gives up they will have to go back to their old regiment. And Para Sf are not like Royal Marine, they are counterpart to the British SAS/ US Army Delta Force

@OriginalHuman At the start of video of 36 stress hrs they said these guys in the last 10 days have only slept 1hr a day, so they are already feeling the pinch before the real stress phase starts. The water is juice mixed with dehydrated water.. That was there first water after so many hrs & 1st food was given after 24 hrs in stress phase. They did 3 speed march of 10km each in a hilly terrain with 37kg of load.. Thats not all Once they complete the whole stress test, they will do a 100 km run with battle load in a hilly terrain. And thats not the hardest part of training

Indian army is very old army it was under British army before independence and Indian army fought ww1 and ww2..so para forced in Indiaarmy are since the inception of para military unit in British army ....i guess in ww2 .. Basically British army units and Indian army units are quite similiar ..for example gorkha battalion is also incepted in Indian army....

Well one think that you got wrong is that this wasn't the training. This was just the selection procedure. Only 11 out of 66 made through. And those 11 would move further for Training, which is even more tough than this.

The speed march was about 2 to 3 hours. If the wooden log weighs closer to 80kgs you get to do it in pairs. If it's near the 30kgs end, you gotta do it alone, that's what it said. Honestly kinda disappointed that this was from The Discovery Channel and yet there are no subtitles. In reality it is the rehydrating solution, they just don't know about it and they're told it's from the same place as earlier. They somehow made it look and smell similar, haha.

This is just a 36 hour stress phase of 90 day probationary process, soldiers of the armed forces can volunteer to join the S.F. Only 10% can go through this 90 day selection process. After this those 10% selected in S.F have a training period of 3 - 3.5 year

If you're thinking that they achieved the Maroon Barrett then you're wrong.. that's just 2% of what waiting ahead of them...by the time they finish it'll only be 2 or 3 remaining.. 😄 and they will be hard as a nail. The Regiment was from these and several other units in 1952. and they did get their formal training at first from the brithish forces but now comprises of training from The Para (SF) conduct a series of joint exercises, named Vajra Prahar, with the United States Army every year, in which about 100 personal from the US and Indian special forces participate. INDRA is a series of joint exercise with Russian special forces, and operation Sampriti is the name for joint exercises with Bangladeshi special forces. Para (SF) also conducts exercises and training with the special forces of Israel. The Ajeya Warrior is a series of exercises with regular infantry units of the UK (as the UK's special forces are highly classified). Indian special forces also conduct exercises with forces of the following 16 friendly countries: the United States, France, the UK, Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Maldives, Seychelles, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.The Para SF has provided training to special forces from Afghanistan and Tajikistan. In December 2013, 60 Afghan special forces were trained by the 10 Para (SF) at the Thar Desert. A month earlier, the Tajikistani special forces had undergone training. And there is also an interesting fact about the para sf that they are also known as the red devils as it happened when there was a competition between the special forces of alot of nations and in which when the indian para sf conducted their drill of the soldiers parachute did not open and his leg broke due to the impact of the fall but even after that they conducted their mock drill without having any sideeffects due to it but rather they won that competition. and it is said that since then they are known as the red devils as the soldiers from other countries witnessed this called them so . the name has ever since stuck with them. What you saw was just the half time of their probationary period which is 90 daysand when they pass that they go on for a training of 2.5 yrs after which they officially become a member of one of the most elite special forces in the world The para Special Forces .

The reason the Para(SF) badge looks almost exactly like the Who Dares Wins patch is because the Parachute Regiment (of which the PSF battalions are a part) were part of the British Army and founded in the British Army during WW2 (in 1941) and following WW2, the SAS trained all of the initial batch of Para(SF) in 1966 and so the modeling of the badge
