Had they only turned up unannounced the Royal navy would have been sent out just to shadow the ships not prepare so go to war. They send ships over to European waters, you send ships over to Asian waters. In both cases, the “home” fleet escorts the “visitor” through it’s waters. Warships have been encountering each other for centuries and there is no reason for either side to overreact. All ships handled the encounter professionally and as long as there are no belligerent intentions, there is little risk of accidental hostilities provided all navies act professionally and communicate clearly

The Ming dynasty toppled the yuan dynasty(mongols), the Qing dynasty defeated the Ming dynasty and whichever party took over the country becomes the legitimate government. lf the mongols conquered China can rule over the country, likewise Mongols has to pay the price of defeat and Mongolia could be ruled by the victor. Things go both ways not a one way street. By your logic Mongolia can invade China and rule but China cannot rule over Mongolia when it's defeated? For your knowledge, there were Xia, Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han, Tang, Sung and Ming dynasties who ruled China before the Yuan(mongols) and you think China belongs to Mongolia?

The law of the sea is a quid pro quo. If the Chinese want access to international sea lanes close to other nations territories, then they must do the same. If they stop traffic through the South China Sea, then it is quite possible all Chinese vessels will be banned from sea lanes around the world. The Chinese know this and as a trading nation this would be entirely self-defeating. It's all flexing muscles and that's all it is.

I believe the American Navy reconnaisance plane was struck by the much more maneuverable fighter jet . For diplomatic reasons , neither plane's pilot was listed as causing this , so both sides could claim the upper hand . In such collisions it is often the smaller , lighter craft at fault . Your statement avoided neutraliy , therefore you support China .
